If a visit to your farm is needed, we will be out as soon as we possibly can.
Signs Your Farm Animal Needs Care
- Collapse
- Loss of consciousness
- Colic
- Dystocia
- Bleeding heavily
- Bleeding from the nose, ears, mouth, or rectum
- Vomiting/diarrhea more than 24 hours
- No eating or drinking for 24 hours or more
- Limping or abnormal gait
- Abdomen appears bloated and feels unusually hard
- Blood in stool, urine, or vomit
- Unable to walk or stand
- Tussled with a wild animal
- Fell from a height or hit by a car (can cause serious internal injury)
- Possible broken bone(s)
- Fever (ears and nose feel hot)
- Straining to urinate/defecate
- Ingested a known toxin
- Sitting with head pressed against the wall
- Injury to the eye
- Has been in labor for over an hour
