Learn More About Our Care Team

Dr. Wesley Dyer

Dr. Dyer obtained his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tuskegee University in 2014. Afterwards he went to work for seven years as an associate veterinarian in Smiths Grove at a mixed animal practice. In the summer of 2021 he purchased Tri-County Veterinary Services, changing its name but preserving its high level of customer and patient care.

Dr. Dyer says "It was always my dream to return to my hometown and start my own veterinary practice. Getting to come back to my roots to do what I love has been this dream becoming a reality. I'm honored to offer my services to this great community that raised me and made me who I am today."

Brittany Dyer

Brittany is the wife of Dr. Dyer and the practice manager at Monroe Veterinary Services. She graduated from Somerset Community College in 2015 with an Associate’s Degree in Business Management and an Associate’s Degree in Accounting. When you visit the clinic, you will most likely meet her at some point, whether it be at the front desk, on the telephone or loving on your pups in the exam room. She keeps the gears turning and is our go-to person for everything. When away from the clinic, she enjoys spending time with their 3 children, reading, and serving those around her.

Sarah Walker

Sarah has worked as a veterinary assistant for 13+ years. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Western Kentucky University with a major in Animal Science in 2015. She will obtain her Veterinary Technician License from Purdue University in 2025. With her expertise, she brings a lot of compassion, knowledge, and dedication to the field. Although she wears many hats, you will often find her assisting Dr. Dyer in all areas including, exams, surgeries, triage, vaccinations, and farm calls.

Sarah is also a licensed wildlife rehabilitator and her passion for all animals, wild and domestic, is unmatched. When away from the clinic, she enjoys spending time outdoors riding horses, hunting, and spending time with her pets.

Charlie Graves

The man, the myth, the legend. Charlie is well known in our community and has served as a large animal technician for 32+ years. His experience and knowledge in the veterinary field makes him a major asset to our practice. Charlie also serves our community as a volunteer fire fighter.

Tammy Hodges

Tammy has been a receptionist in the Veterinary field for 13+ years and has been with Monroe Veterinary Services since the beginning. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Business Management in 2013. Tammy is the first person you see when you come into the clinic and is our large animal guru. She was raised on a dairy farm all her life and enjoys being on the farm, cooking, and sewing in her spare time.

Sara Russell

Sara joined our team when we opened the doors in July of 2021. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Western Kentucky University in the spring of 2021 with a major in Agriculture Business and a minor in Business Administration. Sara holds the unofficial title of “Multi-Functional Floater”. She has a knack for business and is an excellent receptionist, however, her heart is with the animals. You can mostly find her assisting Dr. Dyer and loving on all the pets that come through the door. Sara enjoys spending time with her various pets.

Chelsea Graves

Chelsea joined the Monroe Vet Services team in June 2022 with 13+ years as a receptionist. She is loud, loving, and always making those around her laugh. Chelsea has a heart for people and an even bigger heart for their pets. In her spare time she enjoys caring for her two dogs; Georgie Mae and Rowdy Banks, her various rabbits, and chickens. She enjoys being outdoors where she can hike and kayak.
