Large and Small Animal Services

We are proud to offer a broad range of both large and small animal services. We are a mixed animal practice that provides: essential diagnostics, advanced soft tissue surgeries, consistent preventative care, in-house critical care & hospitalization, and an in-house pharmacy. We also have a haul-in facility that provides a perfect place to process cattle. This includes a separate facility that allows us to treat or perform large animal surgeries. Our parking lot is designed to provide ample space for trailers to come and go with ease. We also provide ambulatory care to farms as-needed.

New Pet Exams

Owning a new pet is a very exciting experience. There are often a lot of questions that come with owning a new pet. We provide New Pet Exams to help you easily transition into ownership and keep your new pet at optimal health. This includes: vaccine protocols, parasite control, spay/neuter, diet, breed dispositions and behavior. Call us to schedule your New Pet Exam!

Pet Wellness Exams

We are firm believers in the tried and true statement that "Prevention is better than Treatment". Periodic wellness exams are essential in making sure that your loved ones are as healthy and comfortable as possible. Dr. Dyer will complete a thorough physical exam, make sure that your pet is up-to-date on all vaccinations, screen and treat for internal and external parasites, and discuss prevention & early detection of disease.

In-House Diagnostics

We are grateful to offer a multitude of in-house diagnostic services at our clinic. While some tests have to be sent off to an outside lab, we know the importance of getting results back ASAP. That's why we offer diagnostics such as: digital x-ray, ultrasound, comprehensive bloodwork, parasite screening, and much much more.

Surgery

Surgical procedures range from preventative care to emergencies. This includes for livestock and large animals as well. We use scalpel or elecrocautery surgery techniques. Some small animal surgeries include: spay & neuter, FHO, ophthalmic procedures, gastropexy, mass removal, wound repairs, bladder stone removal, brachycephalic syndrome (stenotic naries/elongated soft palate), foreign body obstruction, C-section and much much more. Some large animal surgeries include: displaced abomasum, castration, dehorning, wound repair, ophthalmic procedures, mass removal, hernia repair and much more.

Large Animal Haul-ins

We have two large animal haul-in facilities on site. One facility offers holding pens, chute with palpation cage, and easy access. Cattle can easily be processed and sorted through this facility. Our second facility is enclosed and is equipped with a holding pen, head chute and a tilt table. This offers a cleaner, friendlier environment for more advanced procedures such as surgical and medical treatment. We are happy to meet all of your large animal needs in the convenience of our large animal facility. We ask that you call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times for animals.

Farm Animal Ambulatory Services

We offer a full range of ambulatory services with trucks that are fully capable to handle both routine care and emergency situations that may arise on the farm. We encourage our clients to please have facilities available when possible.

Preventative Care

As medical professionals, we strive to educate and demonstrate a solid plan for preventative care. It is always easier and cheaper to prevent disease than to treat it. We encourage routine vaccinations, monthly preventatives, annual screenings, prophylactic surgeries and proper diets. This applies to both large and small animals in equal parts. Give us a call and let us help you stay on track with proper preventative medicine.

Dental Services

Your pet's oral health is very important to their overall health. Our furry friends can have all of the same dental issues as seen in human dentistry, but often go unnoticed until there is a more severe issue. It is important to maintain periodic wellness exams so that your veterinarian can examine and detect oral issues. Our dental services include dental cleaning/polishing and oral surgery.

After Hour Emergency Care

Unfortunately, emergencies don't always happen during normal business hours. This is why we are available for emergencies after-hours. Some emergencies can be resolved with consultation (consultation fees may apply), while others require traveling. If you have an emergency, please call our clinic to be directed to the veterinarian on-call.

Signs of an Animal Emergency

We understand that it is hard to know when to call or what constitutes an emergency. We have provided a list of common issues that we feel would be considered a possible emergency. However, this list does not account for all situations. When in doubt, please reach out to us.
