What to Expect During Your First Visit

Your Pet’s First Examination

If you’re not sure what to expect for your first visit, you have nothing to worry about. First, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes early so that you can fill out the appropriate paperwork. Please be sure to bring any documentation from any other veterinary clinics you’ve visited or any documentation you may have from a breeder. On your first visit, you’ll meet with Dr. Dyer after meeting with our veterinary technicians.

During your examination, small pets will receive a fecal exam. This is to check for parasites. You’ll also get your first dose of flea and tick medication – this is free for the first dose. We’ll then get you started on our vaccine protocol. Your pet will receive four sets of vaccines over several weeks. After the examination, you and your pet will be on your way.
